Thesis Statement : Based on those facts above, we try to describe three causes of poverty in Jakarta which are, too many people come to Jakarta, education in Jakarta is too costly, and corruption is often happen.

Topic sentence : The first reason we find is there are many people come to Jakarta even though they don’t have any knowledge about this city and they also don’t have any skills.

Supporting details : 1. Jakarta provide many facilities that can change their life.

2. There are many bad situations.

B. Paragraph 3

Topic sentence : The second reason is the education in Jakarta is too costly.

Supporting details : 1. Education plays an important role in our life.

2. Education gives an opportunity for people to have a brighter future.

3. Numbers of people who fail in school are over 24.946.

C. Paragraph 4

Topic sentence : The last cause of poverty in Jakarta is many irresponsible and greedy people inside the government administration.

Supporting details : 1. Many people do corruption.

2. Blocked the development of Jakarta.

3. Makes those people only think to enrich themselves.

4. Forget about their real job to give prosperity for people.

III. Conclusion

The basic causes of poverty in Jakarta are many people who don’t have knowledge and skills come, the education is too expensive, and corruption is often happen. The government has to develop every part in Indonesia in the same level, add more subsidies in education and be responsible in managing public’s rupiahs like spending that money wisely because only then can decrease the amount of poverty in Jakarta.
